My name is Mike Lopez and I am currently in my 4th year of coaching with ESSL. I have been coaching soccer for almost 17 years from ages 10 to high school. I hold US Soccer Coaching D and C licenses along with US Soccer Grassroots Coaching License.
I have had many opportunities to successfully play at various levels which include: Division I BGSU Men’s Soccer Team, Olympic Development Program (ODP) Ohio North State Team and ODP Regional Team Pool. I have had the opportunity to play both nationally (Florida, Missouri, California) and internationally (Sweden and Denmark).
I also hold two Referee Licenses. USSF Referee Grade 7 (29 yrs) and OHSSA High School Certification Class 1 Referee License (9 yrs). I'm also a board member for the Northwest Ohio Soccer Officials Association (NWOSOA).
As one can tell with my vast history that I love the game of soccer. I also have a great passion to coach and teach the youth while surrounding myself with others as I continue learning more about the game.

My name is Kendra Buchanan and I am working my first term as Club Admin. My daughter is currently in her 4th season with Arsenal and plays on the Girls U13G team. We love the community that comes with being a part of the Arsenal organization, looking forward to continuing this with new families!
Corey Jacobs
I’m Corey Jacobs and I’m excited to be joining the board as Vice President for 2024. My son plays for the boys U11 team on which I am also the assistant coach. I am a CPA and work as a Financial Leader for a local automotive manufacturing company.
Stephanie Ramsey
My name is Stephanie Ramsey and I'm in my first term as treasurer. I have two daughters that have introduced us to the world of Soccer. We definitely had a lot to learn along the way. What I love is seeing the passion that they both share for the sport. My youngest daughter is currently beginning her second year playing on the Girls U11G team. This is our second year with the Arsenal community and what we love so far is how welcoming everyone has been. What we have noticed so far is that it's not just a league, it's a family and we are excited to be a part of this Arsenal family!
